Over the last 2 years we've shown off quite a few different ideas for wedding placecards & escort cards on our amazing Revolution Wedding Tours at wedding venues across the South. Wedding planners and stationery designers from Charleston to Savannah to Atlanta have challenged themselves to inspire brides and grooms to take it up a notch with these lovely ideas below! Here is a round up of our personal favorites!
We've shown a fabulous Tuscan inspired wedding design at Boone Hall Plantation and used tiny bottles of Holy Smoke Smoked Olive Oil at each place setting with Kraft paper name tags tied on using simple twine. Set in the center of each plate was crusty Italian bread wrapped in kitchen paper with a sprig of fresh rosemary tucked inside, perfect to enjoy dipped in that delish olive oil!
Isn't this handmade rustic escort card display from Cannon Green the cutest? We just love the simple yet fresh calligraphy! And with hand-painted watercolor escort scrolls hanging on champagne flutes filled with Blanc de Bleu you just can't go wrong!
Laser-cut wooden placecards with every guest's name set at each place setting add a touch of rustic to an otherwise incredibly luxurious, elegant affair! And bonus points, your guests can take them home afterwards to enjoy for years to come!

These placecards are as delicious as they are gorgeous. Fresh Georgia peaches topped with each guest's name at their place setting took this classic, elegant wedding design in Atlanta in a beautiful new direction!
These creamy, dreamy beauties combined Alicia's coastal wedding design with a gorgeous blue watercolor effect to create one of our favorite invitation suites of all time. Seriously, Melanie Jankun, of Jankun Creative is one of the most talented designers like, um, ever!
It's no secret that we have a soft spot in our hearts for the US military and naturally we wanted to honor our love and respect for our brave servicemen and women by dedicating an entire venue design to them at Wingate Plantation last summer. We had little silver Army guys at each seat holding the guest's place card.
The escort card display was showcased perfectly on vintage dressers that matched the red, white and blue color palette perfectly! And the escort cards? They were little paper airplanes!! And when you unfolded your name, your table assignment was cleverly hidden inside! Stahhhppppppp the cuteness!!
Cutest things ever, right?!
Breakfast in Bed featured a preppy, brunch inspired wedding design with tons of bright springy colors and a gorgeous watercolor floral paper suite!
Figs & Honey was a warm farm-to-table inspired wedding design combining organic rustic touches with a truly elegant color palette inspired by the very name itself. Honeyed gold paired perfectly with deep mulled Marsala wine tones and purply figs to create this wonderful hand-stamped floral stationery set and place cards.
Dia de los Muertos inspired this fiery, colorful wedding design in Atlanta at Paris on Ponce. Laser cut menus and Mexican playing cards adorned this festive tables while the bride & groom (also professional competitive dancers!) wowed the guests with a jaw-dropping performance!
